Iraq Energy Institute Signs an MoU with the Bosphorus Energy Club

The two organisations share a common vision of stronger energy diplomacy, knowledge sharing and capacity development on cross border energy issues, helping the region develop policies to successfully navigate through the coming global energy transition. Both organizations strive to place co-operation within a global context as the world looks to a host of new energy innovations.
The MOU will open the door to exchanging ideas for policy forums aimed at government, business and civil society leaders and training sessions, joint efforts that will harness the wealth of experience and capacities, present in both organizations.
Both the IEI and the Bosphorus Energy Club pride themselves on highly active, multi-sector insight across different fields in energy. This means actively bringing seasoned experts together to ensure research and policy advice are cutting edge and based on the latest industry insights, rather than desk-based research.
According to IEI Managing Director Yesar Al-Maleki, a key focus of the collaboration will involve promoting rising talent in the region’s energy sector:
